In contrast to traditional LCD displays, OLED technology offers a self-luminous design with high brightness and efficiency, along with a wide viewing angle. It also boasts thinness, portability, rapid response, favorable temperature performance, and low power consumption due to its use of DC drive and flexible display capabilities. Additionally, as OLED TV prices become more accessible, they have garnered popularity among consumers who ask questions like "Do OLED TVs deliver?" and "What are the pros and cons of OLED TVs?"

Blue light hazards: what are they?

Light in nature is made up of a spectrum of different colors, but different wavelengths appear different colors to the eye. For example, at 600 to 700 nanometers, red light is visible, at 500 to 600 nanometers, yellow light is visible, and blue light has a wavelength between 400 and 500 nanometers.

The shorter the wavelength, the higher the energy, and the stronger the penetration. As blue light has a relatively short wavelength, we are now very concerned about its harmful effects on the human eye. We are all glued to screens all day, using electronic devices every day. This LED is the screen, its main light source peak spectrum is this short-wave blue light. The longer you wait, the more damage your eyes will suffer.

OLED TVs are thinner and do not have flash screens

In addition to being able to crush LCD in appearance, organic light-emitting diode self-luminous TVs are also flexible and transparent. One of the core advantages of an OLED TV is its thinness and lightness. OLED TVs have ultra-narrow bezels, making them appear more like a perfect painting.

It is common for OLED LCD TVs to use chessboard light control partitions, so they almost all use low-frequency PWM dimming below 1000Hz. However, instead of analyzing the PWM frequency and fluctuation depth, it is more prudent to add money to purchase DC dimming OLED TVs directly, without worrying about health and worry. By relying mainly on the self-luminous properties of OLED, no backlight, and each pixel can light independently, OLED TVs are able to achieve a thin appearance.

The OLED technology for audio-visual integration

The unique advantage of OLED self-lighting TVs is their sound technology on a panel screen. As the screen is directly emitted by sound, the sound can be directly transmitted from it when watching TV, synchronizing the sound with the picture. By creating a more vivid sound effect and bringing us a movie-like experience at home, this design can offer us a more immersive audio-visual experience.
