However, as the amount of moisture in the skin decreases in our 30s compared to our 20s, daily care can make a big difference in the condition of our skin. It doesn't matter how expensive your skincare products are, if they don't cleanse your pores, they will be less effective. To ensure that your skin is healthy and beautiful in your 30s and 40s, it's time to take a look at the basics of skincare, such as washing and cleansing your face.

How to wash your face when you're in your 30s

Wash your face no more than twice a day
Do you wash your face too many times a day because you want to feel refreshed? You don't want to overload your skin by washing it too many times. Washing your face too many times a day can strip your skin of its natural oils. It is best to wash your skin only twice a day, once in the morning and once at night, as this can lead to dryness and excess sebum.
Use a thick and fluffy lather, ideally the size of a lemon, which will not fall off even if you turn your head.
Use a washing net to lather up your face wash. The key is to make sure the foam is so dense that it doesn't fall off when you turn your face over. Use the foam as a cushion to help reduce friction and stress on the skin.
Use just enough pressure to keep your skin still
When washing your face, it is important to remove only the dirt and protect the skin's moisture. The key is to avoid friction and to be gentle with your skin. The area around the eyes and mouth is one of the thinnest areas of the face and is most prone to friction problems, so it is important to use gentle pressure so that the skin does not move.
Start with the T-zone, chin, nose and other bear zones where there is a lot of sebum.

The U-zone, around the eyes and mouth should only be washed with a quick lather.

Hot water, on the other hand, washes away the sebum that your skin needs, causing it to dry out. The right temperature is 32-34 degrees Celsius, or lukewarm water that is slightly cooler than the skin. It's good to remember the temperature by feel.
When wiping your face, use a towel and press gently.

Don't leave water on the skin as it dries. If you have dry skin, wipe it off immediately as it will evaporate with the moisture inside your skin.
Dry skin can be washed with hot water in the morning
If you have dry skin, you may want to avoid using a facial cleanser in the morning. If you have moisturised your skin in the morning and it is still dry in the afternoon, it may be because you wash your face in the morning.
If you are concerned about this, try rinsing your face with hot water instead of using a cleanser and see how your skin feels. If your skin produces too much sebum during sleep, or if it is still sticky from the night's skincare, use a cleanser.
It is also advisable to have two cleansers, one for daily use and one for scrubbing.
In addition to your daily cleanser, it is also a good idea to use a scrub or enzyme cleanser on a regular basis to exfoliate your skin. A scrub is a great way to give your skin a boost of cleanliness when used correctly.
If you can afford it, use a steamed towel before washing your face.
